The Beginning

I feel like the best way to begin this blog is to share a little about myself. Of course, if you're reading this you probably already know me. But just in case you are new to my story, I'm going to provide you a link to something that I hope will give you just enough background without boring you with too many details...http://watermarkblogs.org/stories/02/god-does-heal-and-restore/#more-152. My "story" was recently published in the Watermark News (basically my church bulletin) on February 7, 2010. I could not list in one post all the things that God has done in my life and the ways he has used me during the painful last few years of my life. It's so cool to see God take something meant for destruction and use it to bring glory to His kingdom. My relationship with God has never been stronger and I've never been more excited to see what He has in store for me in the future. I understand what the scripture means when it says "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." (Romans 12:12 NIV). Joy is a product of hope and hope is product of faith and complete trust in Christ. I pray for this kind of hope for each and every one of you!
